Arctic Blue algal oil capsules are a 100% vegetable Omega-3 supplement, meant for vegetarians, vegans and perfect for Mums to be and during breast feeding (read HERE why). The capsules are small and easy to swallow. As they are made from fresh algal oil, there is no (belching of) fishy after-taste.

Algae are rich in Omega-3 DHA, the fatty acid found in fatty fish, as these fish get their Omega-3 from eating algae. Algal oil is made from cultivated algae and therefor free from any contaminants that can be present in wild fish. The Vegan Society has awarded Arctic Blue with the certificate for a 100% Vegan product, because the capsule hull isn’t made from gelatine but from seaweed extract.

Omega-3 DHA has several official European health claims. At levels of 250 mg a day DHA contributes to the normal functioning of the heart and contributes to maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision.
