Vegetarian Omega-3 Algae Oil DHA AND EPA (subscription)

Algae are mini-plants that can make their own Omega-3 fatty acids in water. In nature, algae pass these on to "fatty" fish such as herring and sardine when eaten. This gives algae oil the power of fish oil. Because we make algae oil capsules from cultivated algae in a controlled environment, we can also be sure that there can be no contaminants from the ocean in them. The capsule shell is also plant-based because the gelatin has been replaced with seaweed, among other things.
