Wild fatty fish, such as herring, sardines or mackerel, are a very good source of valuable unsaturated fatty acids Omega-3 EPA and DHA as well as vitamin D. Lean fish, on the other hand (kibbeling, fish sticks, tilapia and pangasius) hardly contain these important nutrients. The daily dose (5 ml) (one dessert or teaspoon) of Pure Arctic Fish Oil contains the Omega-3 fats of (converted) over half a herring.
