Who We Are

Arctic Blue the leading omega-3 specialist—offering health products made from algae oil and fish oil derived from fillet trimmings, for which no fish are caught specifically for this purpose. Thanks to our innovative and sustainable approach, our brand is growing rapidly in the Netherlands and neighboring countries. We are a small team of seven people; we take a pragmatic approach to our work and place a high value on ownership.

What are you going to do?

We’re looking for a marketing lead to take our brand to the next level. You’ll take our brand positioning and turn it into a concrete marketing plan—and then make sure it gets implemented.

You serve as the link between strategy and execution. You manage a network of regular external partners—from email marketing and Meta ads to web development and visual communications—and ensure that everything works together seamlessly. At the same time, you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get to work yourself: you write copy, create content for landing pages, and monitor the quality of campaigns.

Your responsibilities

  • Reassessing our brand positioning and tone of voice, and translating this into a clear marketing plan.
  • Managing external partners: email marketing (Klaviyo), Meta ads, web development (WooCommerce), and visual communications.
  • Hands-on work on copy, newsletters, landing pages, and ad copy.
  • Ensuring brand consistency across all communications.
  • Identifying opportunities—such as a younger target audience or collaborations with influencers—and turning them into action (in collaboration with an intern).
  • Establishing structure where it is currently lacking: planning, work processes, and prioritization.

Your profile

  • 3–6 years of experience in a broad marketing role, preferably at a small or medium-sized brand.
  • You understand brand strategy and can translate it into a feasible plan—without getting bogged down in theory.
  • You excel at copywriting and have a good sense of tone and brand voice.
  • You have experience managing external parties and freelancers.
  • You work in a structured and proactive manner—you don’t wait for a briefing, but create one yourself.
  • An interest in health, nutrition, or sustainability is a plus.
