You win some, you lose some.
That was quite the week. You understand, unfortunately we didn't win in beautiful Geneva.
Otherwise, I would not have hidden my hands in my pocket but held up the trophy belonging to the "Sustainable Initiative of the Year Award" 😊

But that does not mean, that this trip and efforts have been in vain. On the contrary.
During the day we were at Vitafoods, the largest health products trade show in Europe:

It is the meeting place to meet all our suppliers in person in 2 days.
And the great thing is that through the visibility of such a nomination, great things can happen.
It naturally creates a good atmosphere, as here at our gummie manufacturer's booth.
Because yes, now of course we want to be able to offer our plant-based algae oil customers a vegan gummy.
That will be October 🌱
Numerous lectures will be held during the fair.
For example, one of the surprises was that a lady from the MSC seal of approval from Germany cited our fish collagen product in her presentation as a good example of how price/quality and sustainability can go together.
Very cool is that, because.

It is a recognition that we are on the right path. Affordable health products, that do in your body what they are supposed to do, but are made, with no adverse effect on nature.
And beyond that. People just come up to you who want to sell Arctic Blue in their country. Not just collagen or gummies, but all 15 of our products.
In this case, it means we will soon be available for sale in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bulgaria.
A confirmation that our rigid principles are also appreciated abroad.
So you can say that there is bycatch here 😉
But unfortunately so this time no Victory discount code.
But in our web shop, of course, for each product we simply have the subscription discount (standard 10%) and additional quantity discounts (depending on the product up to 12% or 25%).
If you like, you can experience the moment suprême here. You will be announced, as one of the 3 contenders, but not called to the stage. As you can see, my little fan club (consisting of our partners in the project) wanted to capture the possible success. It is funny to show this chaos and atmosphere in an unpolished way.
Might be nice to list, then, who those other partners in the gummy project might be.
As you've come to expect from us, this does not include an anonymous Asian factory (with further respect to all the hard-working people there), who often produce a very different type of gummy (sticky, with sugar and low Omega-3 content).
Most of the products in drugstores come from Asia. Sometimes there are fine products, sometimes not.
It's just a fact that a Dutch brand often prefers to leave the true origin in the middle, so as not to have to know where it really comes from.
The fish oil we use in the gummy comes from the Norwegian family business with whom we have had a very nice relationship for almost 10 years https://www.codmarine.com/ for our other products.
The gummy is made in another Norwegian factory, believe it or not, inside the Arctic Circle https://concordix.com/ .
Very nice also that people from our certifier Marine Steward Council (MSC) from England and Germany joined us. And, of course, not forgetting a small delegation from the Holland&Barrett stores.
They are particularly successful in recommending Arctic Blue to customers in the Benelux.
I didn't know I had so many friends 😊
So all in all, it was enjoyable, good for your English (Norwegian just won't do 😊) and good for the new products, which we are going to surprise you with in the future.
