Description

Pure Arctic MSC Fish Oil is a highly effective Omega-3 dietary supplement for dog, cat and horse. It has a high dose of EPA and DHA and is made from fresh Arctic wild fish. Liquid fish oil in bottle with dispensing syringe. With this we offer an alternative dosage, which is better (because hardly oxidized) than the common cheap salmon oil (made from farmed salmon), now given to dog, cat or horse.

Important information

Some dogs and cats that are fed little fresh food often eat kibble that is high in vegetable oil. Because of cost, cheap oil is often used that is high in Omega-6 fatty acids and low in Omega-3. This can cause a dog or cat to develop symptoms because the wrong ratio promotes inflammation.

A good Omega-3 supplement can correct this imbalance and thus make symptoms disappear or diminish. A bad Omega-3 supplement loses its anti-inflammatory inhibition when the oil is too old. A rancid fish oil is downright unhealthy for humans and animals. The first signs of an oxidized fish oil is an abnormal fish taste.

The use of fresh oil (even for animals) is one of Arctic Blue's principles. Because the fish is processed within 24 hours in cold northern Norway, the sensitive unsaturated Omega-3 fatty acids remain in good condition. Therefore, we are the only ones transparent about (and proud of) the oxidation value of the oil. This is the main reason why we do not use fish oil from whole sardines and anchovies from warm countries like China or South America. Another reason is that we do not use whole ground fish that could actually be used for other animals or humans. We prefer to use the fillet trimmings and liver of the cod. This method of working has also earned us the MSC label.

Composition per 1 ml: cod liver oil 1000 mg, EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) 85 mg, DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) 115 mg, antioxidant (tocopherol-rich extract (containing vitamin E)).

The vitamin E-containing natural antioxidant protects sensitive Omega-3 fatty acids.

However, both are not yet in the proper animal packaging.

Salmon oil is made from farmed salmon. We are not fans of this for two reasons. First, the salmon may contain residues of contaminants from feed or medications administered. Second, the Omega-3 content of farmed (fluff) salmon has deteriorated quite a bit over the years. As a result, the Omega-3 content in salmon oil is low.

The oil is extracted within 24 hours from fresh Arctic wild fish in cold northern Norway. As a result, the oil has no chance to develop a fish flavor under the influence of oxygen and thus the quality is maintained.

Our main product has no added flavor. Our wild Arctic salmon oil has a slight anise flavor due to the addition of a very small amount of natural anise oil. The absence of vitamin D also makes this oil suitable for animals.

There are two main reasons for this. 1) With this we guarantee that no hormone-disrupting substances can migrate from plastic into the oil. 2) In addition, light has a negative effect on the sensitive Omega-3 fatty acids. The dark color of the glass ensures that this is prevented (unlike some transparent or white plastics).

This is the only other ingredient in fish oil. It is a natural vitamin E-containing plant extract that protects the Omega-3 fatty acids from oxidation.

Yes certainly, you can then increase the dosage.
