What does a Content Manager at Arctic Blue do?

Arctic Blue the leading Omega-3 specialist, offering health products made from algae and fish oil derived from fillet trimmings—no fish are caught specifically for this purpose. Thanks to its innovative and sustainable approach, our brand is growing rapidly in the Netherlands and neighboring countries.

We’re looking for someone to serve as the hub of our content operations. You’ll contribute ideas for creative concepts and strategically plan content across various channels. You’ll collaborate with creators (both professionals and interns). You’ll create the schedule and be responsible for posting inspiring and engaging social media content. In doing so, you’ll bring structure to our efforts and elevate our online presence to the next level. Storytelling is second nature to you, and you have a deep understanding of social media, including the latest trends. You’ll post stories, write copy, and know exactly how to connect with and inspire our target audience.

Your goal

Your goal is to make Arctic Bluecontent creation as structured as possible, so that everything runs smoothly internally and our fans see relevant and creative content. The stories you come up with are inspiring and relevant. Data analysis and optimization in collaboration with the team ensure that our content continues to perform better and better.

Your responsibilities

  • Setting up and managing a streamlined content calendar and workflows.
  • Posting stories and content almost every day that resonate with our target audience and align with our brand identity.
  • Writing copy that reinforces our message and resonates with people.
  • Monitor social media trends and translate them into opportunities for Arctic Blue.
  • Collaborating with creators, photographers, and videographers to improve content.
  • Analyzing results and adjusting plans accordingly.

Your profile

  • Creative and organized. Able to switch between creative work and planning.
  • Social media savvy: You understand the dynamics of Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Storytelling: You know how to turn a message into compelling text and imagery
  • Don't be afraid to play a small role in a video yourself
  • Proactive: You come up with ideas and take the initiative on your own.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
