Internship: Content Creation & Social Media
Are you interested in nutrition, health, and sustainability? And would you enjoy working in a small team (7) at the Dotslash Campus in Utrecht? Do you know exactly what works and what doesn’t on social media, and do you always have your phone (or camera) handy? Would you also like to learn everything there is to know about producing online content—from the initial idea to going live across all channels? Then this is the role for you!
Arctic Blue the leading Omega-3 specialist, offering health products made from algae and fish oil derived from fillet trimmings—no fish are caught specifically for this purpose. Thanks to its innovative and sustainable approach, our brand is growing rapidly in the Netherlands and neighboring countries.
What are you going to do?
You’ll play a crucial role in our company: overseeing the entire production process for our social media content. From wild, creative ideas to concept development, production, post-production, and publication across all channels—whether working independently or in collaboration with our ambassadors. Together, we’ll ensure that the best and wildest ideas become a reality and that we create the highest-quality content.
Responsibilities
As an intern with us, you’ll be a full-fledged team member and will therefore be involved in all aspects of our daily work. This means a varied range of tasks where every day is different, including the following responsibilities.
Concept Development
- You’ll brainstorm and help us write scripts and storylines for shoots. Those videos you see online? You played a big part in making them happen!
- You’ll scour social media every day for inspiration and keep us up to date on what does and doesn’t work online.
- You’ll provide weekly social proof ideas and creative angles for our content across our various channels.
Pre-production
- As a production manager, you handle props and locations and ensure that everything is ready for production.
- You will also assist with preparing and briefing the crew on set.
Production
- Is there a photo shoot or film shoot at the office or on location? You'll be there!
- During productions, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the shoot runs smoothly, so our videographer and content manager can focus on doing their jobs!
- For example, this means: handling the logistics and making sure all the necessary items are on hand.
- Your creativity is also essential on set. During shoots, you’ll create behind-the-scenes content with your phone, which you’ll turn into a short Reel in no time the next day.
Post-production & launch
- While the editor gets to work, you’ll be working with our content manager on the overall content plan.
- You ensure that all content from the editor is saved in the correct location and learn from the edits and iterations made.
- Next, publish the content (Stories, Reels, and regular posts) and share it across all channels.
- You’re also welcome to start making weekly TikTok videos on your own. If you want to pour all your creativity into this and get the whole team involved, that’s great!

We’re looking for a social media & content creation intern who wants to help build our team at our office in Utrecht for 4 or 5 days a week and is ready to make the most of this internship.
